Crystal Cook, director of development, leads strategic initiatives to secure philanthropic funding in support of CEBA’s mission. She has extensive nonprofit development experience and a passion for realizing clean energy solutions. Prior to joining CEBA in 2021, she served as the director of strategic partnerships at Advanced Energy United, where she helped build the organization’s philanthropic development program from the ground up. Earlier in her career, Crystal worked in development and board relations at the nonpartisan think tank New America; she also spent time as a political fundraising consultant, raising campaign funds for Democratic Senate candidates and organizations.
Crystal earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. She lives just outside Chicago with her husband and two sons.
