Kim Somerville has been with CEBA since 2022 and serves as the deputy director of strategy and impact, a role within the Executive Office leading CEBA’s Board management, strategy, and planning across the organization. An intuitive thinker who thrives in team environments, she works cross-functionally across CEBA and enjoys getting to know the people behind the work.
Originally from Australia, Kim spent over a decade in Queensland’s public health system, where she led finance and business operations work that built her foundation in project management and relationship building. She later served as director of operations for strategy and innovation at BakerRipley, leading cross-functional initiatives across the organization, before joining CEBA.
Kim is a reader, a foodie, an avid traveler, a sports fan, and a gardener with a green thumb. She calls Houston home.
Kim holds a Master of Business Administration from Queensland University of Technology.
