Sarah Mihalecz is Senior Director of Energy Transactions at the Clean Energy Buyers Association, where she leads efforts to equip energy customers with the tools, insights, and market pathways needed to accelerate clean energy deployment. Her work focuses on enabling innovative procurement strategies and scaling solutions that support a reliable, decarbonized power system.
Prior to joining CEBA, Sarah led Sustainability for North America at Tata Sons, advancing corporate sustainability strategy across a diverse portfolio. She previously spent five years in Deloitte Consulting’s sustainability practice, advising leading corporations and public sector clients on emissions measurement, decarbonization strategies, and environmental reporting. Earlier in her career at ICF Consulting and GHD Consulting, she supported organizations ranging from global retailers and consumer goods companies to government agencies and startups in advancing sustainability initiatives. She also served as Sustainability Coordinator at the World Bank.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University and a Master’s in Environmental Management from Yale University, where she focused on industrial environmental management. She has served on Yale’s alumni board and on the advisory board of The Nature Generation.
